September 17 - Constitution Day

Today, September 17, is Constitution Day - an opportunity to remind ourselves that, as Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said, "we have the oldest written constitution still in force in the world," and that all Americans have an obligation to understand it and to "preserve, protect and defend" it from those who would undermine it and the institutions it created. The National Constitution Center is an excellent year-round resource, for adults and children, on the origins, development, implementation, and interpretation of the Constitution.
