Hello, and welcome back to the Dispatch.
A shorter Monday morning edition to tide you over to this Friday where I'll share the usual list of my favourite reads and listens, and some of the things I have found interesting from the past fortnight. This atypical Dispatch for an atypical few days is all about audio, with some great episodes from my podcast feed. There's a look at last week's news, some tech and social media, food, the business of music, and a preview of Kara Swisher's new interview series, On. There's also a best-of interview from Ezra Klein, this time with novelist Richard Powers, author of The Overstory, which in addition to all of the awards and acclaim, as some of you know inspired the name of my own company, Understory .
