SEO story-behind the scenes of the No. 1 spot on Google

English SEO Copywriter ready to Optimize Your Homepage | Linkedin content creator | The way you write tells me a lot about you - Improve your writing | Polyglot and Polymath, here to ask WHY
I decided to tell you my insights about this.
Since my new blog article hit No. 1 in the Google search results with the keyword "effective hotel copywriting tips" within the "hotel copywriting" keyword as the main keyword, I thought it useful to show you the procedure behind this.
Although a lot that I post about belonging to my profession (copywriting, SEO, Linkedin) will be transferred to my paid newsletter on Patreon (and thank you to all of you who believe in this effort of mine, to provide value with them).
The procedure behind writing a new blog article for SEO: Study what you've done so far
You can achieve a lot if you write regularly.
Having regular content is essential.
You've got to feed your blog.
Grow it with the help of content that is written thoughtfully and systematically.
The mass of content you have behind you can help a lot.
But only if you build each piece of content so that it continues on the content that preceded.
The centre of the circle is the main keyword, the outer parts of the circle keep widening the borders, taking in other aspects and angles which still belong to that core, that centre.
Winning on SEO only if you write every 1-2 days?
Some people in the SEO business on Linkedin keep telling that you need to churn out content almost every second day.
I don't do that.
Maybe I should. Who know's why I don't.
Because I'm not that desperate?
I believe that good content will reach the audience it is aimed at.
So, growth won't be that abrupt and sudden. It will be a gradual one.
It's a game of patience.
SEO is like language changing every day.
The rankings are not solid. Positions change in the top 10 all too sudden. It's impossible to keep up with the changes if you're not a big team.
If you're not employing a lot of people who track these changes and are ready to react when they spot a change in the rankings.
Applying SEO to copywriting to reach new clients
Yes, that's my primary aim: to reach new clients organically.
And it's really a game where patience plays a crucial part.
The keyword I chose had actually no search volume, but I arrived at it, because I saw that there were a lot of impressions belonging to a keyword that I wrote my content around and not many clicks.

The No. 1 position on Google actually answers to the question what effective hotel copywriting is, and is a description of a photo I inserted into the article in my copywriting website's blog section .
My aim was to increase the clicks, to drive more visits to my web, and thereby gain new clients.
I may have widened the search all too much. I cast the net too wide.
I assumed that the adjective "effective" would be a very common word that searchers would use when they search for "copywriters" or "copywriting".
That they would certainly use that adjective or a similar one with the nouns above.
And the assumption was right, and the difficulty to rank for "effective copywriting" is far harder than with the long-tail keyword I achieved the No. 1 position on Google with.
Here the proof:
This when you apply Moz in the free version (3 free keyword searches a month).
Share your small SEO victories, no matter how insignificant they are
If you share even such small steps with others, everyone can learn.
Everyone can learn the thought process behind it, and can try to achieve similar things, but now using a far more difficult keyword (difficult to rank high on Google, that is, a keyword many people search).
If you succeeded in this small adventure, rif some people laugh at it on Facebook or on other platforms, that doesn't mean you can't pull off a far tougher move.
You'll get there. Patience.
You can crack that code. If you want it.
So, if you'd like to know about this adventure, and you'd like to see a video I have in private mode on my copywriting and Linkedin Youtube channel , to be published on January 15th, on the process behind this writing, you're welcome to subscribe to my Patreon channel here:
