SEO, PR and the art of getting more eyeballs on your value.
I've been doing a lot of work recently with advisers on building websites that perform better.
Join me AT 10AM TOMORROW for the live session
As you know, for me one of the most important things your practice website should do is give people an avenue to either engage with you or, if they're not quite ready, to give you a chance to nurture them towards that moment when they are ready.
But here's the thing; if you've got a website that ticks all of the boxes, often the next piece you'll need to work for you is the traffic.
In other words, how can you get eyeballs on your proposition in such a way that you maximise the chance of connecting with the people that matter?
It's a topic with a lot of moving parts, including paid advertising, post-boosting, search engine optimization, content marketing, various social media platforms but it's bigger than that.
Even with traditional forms of marketing like referrals and partnerships, at the end of the day potential clients at one point or another are going to end up looking at your website.
In other words, it's no longer about if you're marketing digitally, it's about whether your lack of digital is costing you leads (and maybe even losing you clients?)
I've been working recently with Brook McCarthy of Heart & Hustle, and her background in this area has provided me with real insight into how to make it work.
But what I also love is her background in PR gives her the ability to see the links between the digital world and traditional ways of building profile
(One area I will be exploring is what those advisers who are able to get media profile do that others don't).
If this is an area that you're interested in - if you know that your website needs traffic, or you don't know whether your website has traffic, you've spent money on SEO or just want some real clarity on the rules of engagement when it comes to digital - I'm running a session tomorrow at 10 o'clock.
We're going to sit down so we can unpack it all.
Most importantly, it's going to be an interactive session.
Normally, this would be something we run with The Leveraged Advice Firm program, but I think this is such an important topic right now that I wanted to open up more widely.
So if you'd like to join us, please be my guest. Come on to questions, turn your mic and camera on and allow Brooke and myself to lift the lid on improving the traffic to your website and, in doing so, get more of the clients that you want to work with knowing more about you.
