SentrySix? Training Institute issued license by Texas Department of Public Safety and earns accreditation

The SentrySix? Training Institute recently achieved an important milestone. On December 31, 2016 we became an accredited public safety training provider and on January 5, 2017, SentrySix? was issued a license by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Regulatory Services Division (F04081101) to provide a variety of public safety training courses and certifications. As a part of this licensing, SentrySix? is now licensed to provide a variety of firearm qualification certifications for public safety professionals, and Private Security certifications to include armed security officer and close personal protection officer certifications, which are required by the State of Texas for licensing.

This recent milestone will help SentrySix? advance in operations, as we are now able to certify our own employees, and host courses to provide certification to others. Our curriculum builds on, and exceeds the state minimum requirements. We believe in providing the most elite and advanced training support services, that will better prepare officers in the field better react to any type of situation. We will also soon offer our Active Shooter Response Training Courses to commissioned private security as well. It is our vision to become the elite training provider in South Texas, and continue training those who serve!
