Are Sensor or Transducer same?

Sensor:-
1) It is a device which converts one physical quantity (for example: temperature, blood pressure, humidity, speed, etc.) into an analogue quantity which can be measured electrically such as voltage, capacitance, inductance and ohmic resistance.
2) A sensor produces a signal that varies with an input. Since the sensor output is not conditioned, it is installed into a system that conditions and linearizes the output
3) Like thermocouple (generates its own voltage output when exposed to heat), Accelerometer (Linear motion to electrical conversion)
Transducer: -
1) It is a device which converts one form of energy into another form.
2) A transducer provides an output signal (i.e. voltage or current) that is conditioned and proportional to the input (i.e. pressure). This conditioning and calibration is done at the manufacturer and is “ready to use”
3) Like Loudspeaker, microphones etc.
EVERY TRANSDUCER ALWAYS HAVE A SENSOR BUT EVERY SENSOR DOES NOT NEED TO BE A TRANSDUCER.
