Senserva Recognized as a Microsoft Excellence Awards Finalist for Security ISV of the Year

Senserva just formally announced it is a Security ISV of the Year award finalist in the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards!

Senserva is very excited about being nominated by Microsoft for this very prestigious award.

As noted in my review of our Endpoint Management Trailblazer award finalist nomination I want to thank Thomas Dolan and the Senserva team, they do all the work and make it all happen. I also want to again thank the #Bulletproof team, including CTO Ricardo Nicolini, EVP Wade Dauphinee and their teams. And of course Maria Thomson , Eric Burkholder and Kacy Johnson of the Microsoft MISA Team. And of course, a big thank you to Rod Trent who has an industry friend since the beginning, along with Eric Schultze and many others. I hate to start using names because it becomes difficult to stop as so many have helped us get here!

All the folks who have been in the IT Security world long enough to know of #HFNetChk and #MBSA know I have been doing this a long time. It's kind of amazing that MBSA had a multi-decade run and the core of HFNetChk is still patching millions of computers, and the things I learned at Microsoft long (long) ago still matter. And we are still going to the RSAC Show!

But now, in the modern day, all the risks and challenges of the past are still with us, with a few more added in. There are infinitely more security products available, and 1000s more people using them as well.

So, within these busy times with all the smart people and great products to be recognized by Microsoft as finalist for Security ISV of the Year is a bit of a life-time achievement award for me!

Although I hope to have a few decades left to do what I do now, it's my true passion now as much or maybe more as it was when I first touched a computer keyboard. What is most interesting in the journey, upon reflection, is how many people help all of us succeed and for each of them I am very thankful. It's what makes the journey fun and worthwhile.
