Working in a company like Talentvis that have many teams located across Asia Pacific, being able to work and collaborate with each other is necessary to strive for the company’s success.

Experts have long believed that the relationship between coworkers is essential for the company’s growth. There are countless team building activities that are specifically designed to enhance the relationship between each employee. The desired outcome, of course, is for the team to have better communication skills, deeper trust, and increase productivity in the office.

Team building activity doesn’t need to be extravagant—ice-breaking games that can be performed indoors are enough. For instance, the mini game held by our Jakarta team to celebrate Valentine’s Day was a simple-yet-fun way to spark a friendly competition. The rule is simple: for each given keyword, a group of four people need to act out the keyword with the same pose to win.

The game is easy enough, but if you don’t know your teammates that well, it can be difficult to guess how they imitate a duck—will they use their arms as wings? Or making a duck beak with their hand?

Regardless, this seemingly childlike activity can foster a sense of togetherness between the employees. It indirectly improves collaboration skills, creating a positive and productive work environment. Besides, sometimes it’s fun to just hang out and have a good time with our coworkers without having to think about our job, right? ??
