Success Stories:?Singapore Management University Upgrades Campus with Sennheiser′s SpeechLine Digital Wireless and Control Cockpit Software

Established in 2000, Singapore Management University (SMU) is recognised for its disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research that address issues of global relevance, impacting business, government, and society. Its distinctive education, incorporating innovative experiential learning, aims to nurture global citizens, entrepreneurs and change agents. Through its city campus, SMU focuses on making meaningful impact on Singapore and beyond through its partnerships with industry, policy makers and academic institutions.

SMU has 8 buildings, 126 seminar rooms, 3 halls and 5 event spaces. To solve the university′s challenge of unexpected battery failure and constant need for battery replacement, 100 channels of Sennheiser′s SpeechLine Digital Wireless microphone system, controlled via the Control Cockpit Software, was installed across 5 buildings on the SMU campus. With this upgrade, SMU has a stable and reliable audio-visual environment that can provide an outstanding audio experience for its students and employees.

Product News:?EW-DX Portfolio Availability Update - EW-DX TS 3/5-pin Table Stand Transmitters

The much-anticipated EW-DX table stand transmitters will be shipping from central warehouses as of February 19th. Please read below for further details.

EW-DX TS come in 2 configuration variants (with 3-pin or 5 pin connectors) and in 6 frequency variants (Q, R, S, U, V, Y), all of which will be available for delivery at the same time.

Please note that?Control Cockpit version 7.1.0?released last November already supports all variants of EW-DX TS table stand transmitters.

Product News: MobileConnect - New Features Released

We are excited to announce that the feature set of MobileConnect is yet again expanding to include a queue feature for Audience Mic, "moderation" section, adjustable noise gate and adjustable latency. The following 4 features are available for all MobileConnect?customers free of charge:?

• Queue Feature for Audience Mic: MobileConnect customers can now choose whether to use the current implementation (1 slot only, no queue, first come first serve, "no" moderation possible) or the queue implementation (unlimited queue length, first in first?out, moderators can skip current speaker, mute/unmute, display total queue length and remove everybody from the queue at once).?? ??
• A new "moderation" section in MobileConnect Manager and Local Admin Interface allows management of MobileConnect better than ever before. MobileConnect administrators can now create dedicated moderator accounts which can only access the new "moderation"?section of MobileConnect Manager but cannot change network or audio configurations.? ??
• Adjustable Noise Gate: customers utilising MobileConnect to stream audio (musicals, theatre etc.) will enjoy this feature as adjustable noise gate option will allow MobileConnect administrators to set the noise threshold as per their professional needs?and thus bypass the standard settings.?? ??
• Adjustable Latency: this feature has been long awaited by those MobileConnect customers who prioritise the highest possible audio stream stability over lower latency. The use cases for this new option include, but are not limited to, simultaneously translated?events, silent disco and audio streaming from TV sets. Adjusting latency will allow customers to find their sweet spot between latency and streaming stability (with no or very few audio dropouts).

All of the aforementioned features are available for MobileConnect customers free of charge. For the best experience, as well as to enjoy all the newest features, we strongly recommend updating App, Manager and Station to the latest versions of software/firmware:
