Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, 11×11, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

Currently, we are seeking a Unity Developer at the Middle+ level or higher for our new multiplayer project.        

The multiplayer game is designed for Mobile and PC platforms, where up to 16 players compete using parkour, combat, and physics mechanics. Additionally, players can create their levels using the integrated editor.

We use a modern Unity DOTS stack (JobSystem, Burst, Netcode for Entities). The multiplayer game has an authoritative server, and the client uses full prediction, such as local player prediction, input prediction for remote players, and other techniques to hide network latency. The main challenge is making stable melee combat gameplay on a mobile network with large pings, package drops, etc. It requires excellent CPU performance because we must re-simulate client prediction many times.

Responsibilities:

• Development of software code for mobile gaming applications in C# using Unity.
• Implement core game mechanics.
• Collaboration with a team of developers.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in game development for 4+ years and a passion for creating games.
• Knowledge of C#, object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with utilizing ECS, implementing data-oriented design in game systems, and proficiency with Entity Component Systems.
• Experience in developing applications for mobile platforms (iOS, Android);
• Desire for professional growth.
• Fluent communication in Russian is required.
