Senior UI/UX Designer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join a startup agency to work on a fully remote basis within a multi disciplined team working on a range of different products and services across clients in the USA and UK.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience working within both UI and UX Design and is ready for their next challenge.

This role will involve a lot of client facing work so we are looking for someone who has excellent communication and client facing skills to connect with clients to understand their products and problems as well as looking at the wider ambitions of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To work on projects from end to end for full UI and UX Design, including UX Research and have an obsession over design details with a creative flair.

To facilitate / be involved in design sprints.

To Prototype and be able to quickly visualise a potential solution to be able to put in front of end users.

To justify design decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data.

To be confident in running user testing sessions to validate your UX and design decisions.

To participate and successfully deliver on multiple high priority projects while adapting to changing business priorities and be able and flexible to work to tight deadlines.

To overcome any difficult problems that need to be solved through creative, innovative solutions that put the user first.

To work very closely with a multi disciplined team of Designers, Developers , Product Owners, Project Managers etc to help break down business requirements into measurable and implementable user stories.

To participate in the agile development process which include daily stand ups, sprint planning and monthly team meetings.

EXPERIENCE:

4+ years UI and UX Design experience with at least 2 years leading projects end to end.

A Design Degree.

Qualitative and Quantitative research experience.

Client facing experience.

Strong communication skills.

Any experience with the Google design sprint process would be a bonus.

Passionate about your design work and career focused with a view to growing with the company.

Strong problem solver.

Sketch.

Any knowledge of experience of code is a bonus.

Able to collaborate with a multi disciplined team including the developers.
