The Murlin Group is currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager - Data Centre / Pharma to lead the commercial function of the engineering programs ensuring compliance with internal standards and processes. Manage risk internally and externally and ensure that project teams manage projects with the right level of commercial control to achieve project and business plan targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Assist in implementation of company safety policy and requirements.

? Identify market opportunities (new and existing) and implement strategy to deliver growth targets.

? Ensure customer engagement is affected in accordance with internal core values and realises the business plan.

? Promotion of company and objectives to relevant market sectors, customers, partners, and suppliers.

? Meeting with clients on a regular basis to align on additional scope, commit requests, change management, budgets, and reconciliations.

? Enhance the client’s brand value to both internal and external audiences.

? Manage all the activities of the commercial team.

? Produce commercial reports for RBU / senior management.

? Support sector lead with pre-contract engagement with new clients.

? Support the commercial team with all commercial aspects at tender stage.

? Support the program manager and project management teams during all project phases, developing a detailed, cost-effective budget and all controls needed for their projects.

? Responsible for commercial budgets.

? Manage a team that supports the projects on all areas of project cost controls, such as monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, preparing invoices, estimating cash flow, and tracking data for budgets, contracts, change orders and actual costs.

? Ensure implementation of process, identify and support process improvements.

? Assist in developing/reviewing cost corrective actions and recovery plans and making sure needed actions/plans are implemented.

? Lead financial close-out of the project and participate in other project close-out activities.

? Responsible for Projects’ year forecasts, including sales, financial analyses, and budget.

Experience and Qualifications:

? A confident, dynamic collaborator with strong relationship and collaboration skills capable of delivering purposeful results.

? Demonstrable organisational abilities with accurate and organised methods of working.

? IT literate with high level abilities in mainstream software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.

? Strong written and verbal communication skills.

? Experience in dealing with tender documentation and database management.

? Driven to deliver quality results, under pressure, on their own initiative and an initiative-taking “can-do” attitude.

? Confident individual with the ability to manage multiple projects within very tight deadlines, give direction and organise workload for themselves and others.

? Critical thinking skills.

? Excellent communication skills – able to deal with colleagues and external contacts / visitors and Clients in a confident and professional manner.

? Excellent working knowledge of MS Office software suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
