V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a?Senior PM?for our premier client in?Indianapolis, Indiana.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Technical Requirements and Certifications ?Highly desired: PMP Certified.

• Education and Experience ?Experience in IT Project Management: 5 Years.
• Prior experience working on company large software projects as a Senior IT PM is Highly desired.
• Experience with multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall: 5 Years.

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation: 5 Years
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to work with technical team members and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles.
• Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Job Responsibilities:Develop, monitor and maintain project plans.
• Define users and project team member's roles and responsibilities on the project.
• Define user requirements, deliverables and approvals.
• Collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and the team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership & mentorship fostering respect and trust to inspire others to pursue excellence.
• Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level Project Managers including recommending training and experience.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
