Senior Manager- Data Engineering

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Manager - Data Engineering in the technology solutions industry. Our client seeks an innovative leader to design and develop data and AI platforms, lead data architecture strategy, and manage technical advancements for scalable, enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Manager - Data Engineering, you will:

• Drive Strategic Leadership: Develop a comprehensive data and AI architecture strategy in alignment with business goals. Collaborate with executives to enhance operational efficiencies.
• Architect Large-Scale Solutions: Determine and design AI technology architecture, lead high-level software application design, and define best practices for the team.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Engage cross-functional teams to understand AI needs and provide tailored solutions, maintaining clear communication with project leaders.
• Innovate & Research: Stay current with data and AI advancements, fostering innovation within the team.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics for assessing platform effectiveness and uptime.

Essential Skills:

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in data and AI design, multiple databases (e.g., Python, SQL Server, NoSQL), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams, excellent problem-solving skills, and familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, innovation-driven, and able to excel in dynamic environments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 8+ years in data engineering, with at least 2 years in an architect role.
• Certifications in data technologies or AI, and experience with GenAI and Copilots is a plus.
