Senior Linux and VMware Administrator
DURATION- 12+ Months + Extension
Main Skills: Linux / Tanium / VMWare Admin
- 7+ years proficiency in Linux administration
- Familiarity with Red Hat Identity Management and Red Hat Insights (a plus)
- 7+ years solid experience in managing VMware environments, with a specific interest in candidates who have experience with VMware Aria
- 7+ years of experience with Tanium and knowledge of Linux management.
- 7+ years of experience in administrating both Windows and Linux platforms (cross-platform)?is a PLUS!
- Manage the client Linux environments as a Linux admin
- Enable and maintain Linux environments in Tanium
- Support VMWare Aria environments
- Assist in planning for the migration of VMWare environment to Azure
- Expertise in Tanium would be used to support Tanium Cloud Platform, client and module health.? Tanium modules managed include: Interact, Asset, Trends, Connect, Deploy, Patch, Impact, Threat Response, Comply, Discover, Reveal, Performance and Enforce.? Familiarity on majority or all of these is needed.
- Develop custom Tanium sensors and packages to fulfill team and customer needs.? Intermediate scripting knowledge of WMI Queries, RegEx, PowerShell, VBScript, and/or Python is a MUST.
- Perform?Tanium?Administrator tasks such as managing RBAC permissions including User Groups, Personas, Content Sets, Computer Groups and Module Action Groups
- Create, test, and release new applications, feature, and vulnerability mitigation deployments via?Tanium?Deploy
- Research and develop solutions for continuous improvement of the patch and vulnerability management processes
- Generate endpoint vulnerability analysis reports using?Tanium?and Defender ATP data and distribute to appropriate teams
- Operationalize newly introduced?Tanium?module including Enforce, Reveal, and Performance
