Education and Experience ?

• Bachelor’s Degree or high school degree/general education diploma
• Advanced experience designing complex software systems.
• Advanced experience delivering complex projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with DevOps and cloud automation.
• Experience in designing and deploying systems leveraging a micro-service architecture.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, system/platform engineering, data engineering, or related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?

• Deep experience in designing and deploying highly scalable cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Strong working knowledge of the IT control requirements for HIPAA, GDPR and FDA regulations.
• Advanced understanding in the use of Apache Spark for data processing.
• Advanced knowledge of project software development concepts and skills.
• Solid working knowledge software tools, platforms, and methodologies.
• Comfortable with most popular software languages and technology stacks; SQL, Python and Scala.

Job Responsibilities ?

• Implements moderate to complex cloud engineering, data engineering, and software development solutions.
• Design, deliver, and support cloud technology platforms.
• Identify and troubleshoot any availability and performance issues at multiple layers of deployment, from hardware, operating environment, network, and application.
• Requires one to leverage skills in software, data, and cloud engineering to support how we manage and analyze data.
• Integrate different components and develops new services with a focus on open source to allow a minimal friction developer interaction with the platform and application services.
