Senior Child Care Practitioner
On behalf of my client we are recruiting for a?Children's Senior Practitioner?to join their organisation within the Surrey area. This is a 6 bedded home for children with EBD in a therapeutic?setting.?
You must ideally have?your QCF level 3 in children & young?people?and have at least?2 years experience working within an EBD home.?
The primary function of a Senior Practitioner is to ensure all the young people are in receipt of high quality care as set out in the Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations, and the team of Care Officers in their home are supported in the fulfilment of their daily duties. To support the young people throughout their daily routines, advocate on their behalf, and encourage them to achieve their full potential in all areas of their lives.
You will also support the Managers, and in their absence take on all responsibilities of the Manager and oversee the key work teams/ young people’s care plans. You will also help managers with matching and planning for new admissions and transitions.??

?This is a full time position of 40 hours per week, 07:30-15.30 Monday- Friday, plus on-call
