Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Chartered status (or working towards it)?
This role offers an exciting opportunity to progress your career with a clear pathway towards Associate or Partner level. You'll play a key role in managing a variety of projects across different sectors while mentoring junior team members.
The work will primarily be in Liverpool and surrounding areas.
Your responsibilities include:
- Cost Planning: Producing detailed cost estimates from feasibility to detailed design across various RIBA stages.
- Pre-Contract Services: Advising on procurement strategy, risk management, and value engineering. Preparing tender documents and contracts. Evaluating and advising clients on tenders received.
- Post-Contract Services: Valuing completed work and approving progress payments. Monitoring design changes, measuring, valuing, and negotiating variations. Managing budgets and cost reporting. Negotiating final accounts.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Working across sectors such as Industrial, Residential, Commercial, and Bank Monitoring.
You must have the following requirements/attributes:
- A RICS-accredited degree.
- Chartered status (or working towards it).
- Proven pre and post-contract QS experience with clear examples of projects you’ve managed.
