Job Description

Our Transformation Office is looking for customer-oriented, analytical and driven individuals. Everbridge has a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment, and are ramping up the start of our Enterprise Data and Analytics journey which will require hands on individuals ready to roll up their sleeves to participate in various roles to deliver success! This role will report directly into the Director of Data Strategy and Analytics and be responsible for working with key business customers and technical teams to deliver Business Intelligence solutions to support Everbridge’s growing business. The role will be responsible for supporting Global teams working with colleagues and stakeholders who are spread across different GEO’s and various functions (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Global Support, etc.). The position requires the BI Analyst must be a self-starter with strong leadership, project / program management, analytical, and enablement skills who is comfortable working with distributed teams, at all levels of the organization with minimal management oversight.

*This is a fully remote position anywhere in the United States!

What you'll do:

  • Execute on the Data and Analytics vision and roadmap through analytics solutions for the Company
  • Prototype reports and dashboards to get users engaged and excited about BI solutions
  • Provide guidance and expertise and visualization and story-telling with data best practices
  • Create in-depth business requirements across a variety of business functions, such as Sales, Professional Services, Global Support, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Legal for larger, company driven projects
  • Direct stakeholder engagement with business teams and management of stakeholder relationships
  • Perform data analysis identifying trends and key drivers of metrics
  • Perform QA activities to validate requirements are being met through front end solutions, data model verification, and source to target mapping
  • Develop expertise on business processes, life-cycles, and data drivers to recommend BI solutions and drive requirement discussions
  • Partner closely with technical teams on functional requirements and design to drive successful end state solutions and user experiences
  • Provide best practices, partner and contribute to key DataOps process and practices
  • Provide support to Stakeholders including answering inquires, attending to access requests, investigating data issues, and creating reports and analysis to answer business questions
  • Collaborate on the definition of KPIs and metrics to monitor and run the business
  • Lead reporting projects, taking ownership of successful completion for end to end lifecycle
  • Support communication, training, and documentation to enable successful user adoption
  • Provide visibility to data quality issues and provide remediation actions
  • Provide light administration to analytical tools such as Tableau to grant access, track usage, drive adoption

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Requirements Development, and implementation of Business Intelligence Solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preference for Computer Science or Business Administration
  • Technical knowledge and experience working with the industry leading BI and Data Warehouse tools: Snowflake, Tableau, TabCRM, PowerBI or other similar technologies
  • Experience with data pipeline and data streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark) is a bonus
  • Proficient in either R/Python and SQL with minimum 2-3 years of data engineering hands on experience
  • Expertise and 1-2 years hands on experience with full lifecycle of implementation including data modeling, data profiling, data pipelines and overall Dev Ops operating models and best practices
  • Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
  • ERP and CRM experience with tools such as Salesforce and Oracle Netsuite
  • Clear, professional, and concise communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills. Must have combination of excellent communication skills (including presentation skills) and Technical skills
  • Must be able to use consultative approach and persuasive communication with stakeholders
  • Ability to take initiative and to set priorities independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
