SEMIKRON Technology Day in Nuremberg

Yesterday we hosted a Technology Day at our headquarters here in Nuremberg. We invited Variable Frequency Drives R&D engineers from across Germany to join us to hear presentations from our Product Marketing and Application Engineering groups. Topics ranged from SEMIKRON's products/insights into Silicon Carbide for VFD applications, to a technical application session from Dr. Arendt Wintrich on the effects of VFD cable length on IGBT switching losses. The day further reinforced the importance of engaging customers with technical subject matter that brings value to them as engineers, but also served as a platform for two-way discussions on market/industry trends driving their future needs.
