"Selling Past the Pandemic: Strategies for Thriving in the Post-COVID World"

When the pandemic hit, it brought about many changes in how we do business. Many of us found ourselves developing bad habits and becoming lazy, losing interest in improving ourselves. As a result, we lost our edge and did less work while making more money. While this was acceptable at the time, we now need to level up our game.

One of the most important skills we need to develop is salesmanship. It is a real thing that adds value to the customer experience, generates positive reviews, and most importantly, increases gross profit. This means more money in your pocket. By focusing on salesmanship, we can create a better experience for our customers, which will lead to more repeat business and referrals.

It's important to remember that just because we sold out of inventory and made money during a pandemic doesn't necessarily mean we were doing well. Everyone was in the same boat. This environment can give newer salespeople a false sense of security because relying solely on the market for production is a dangerous game. We should always strive to improve and learn more, even when things seem easy. Champions are always getting better!

To be successful in sales, we need to be proactive and take the initiative to learn more skills and techniques. We should constantly seek new information and training opportunities to improve our salesmanship. By doing so, we can create a competitive advantage for ourselves and our businesses.

In conclusion, we need to be aware of the dangers of complacency and always strive to improve ourselves. By focusing on salesmanship and constantly seeking out new information and training opportunities, we can create a better experience for our guests/clients, generate positive reviews, and increase our gross profit.
