Selling 101
I am trying to bring a new sales person up to speed on sales techniques. What I am finding are vast disparities about how to sell? I have been selling for more than 25 years now and I believe the key to selling is being honest and conveying your genuine interest in the other person. If they are having an issue, help resolve it, if its a pricing questions help answer it. This is something that can be done effectively over the phone. The sentiment comes through if you are honest . I hear it in the voices of customer service people I deal with daily. With all the tools and tricks that we supposedly have to the Art of selling it really is just Listening and being there to help.
