I'm Derrick Androco, I’m the seller of this house. It actually started a couple of years ago. We were thinking about buying some of the details started coming out of his thoughts about like how we should go about it and how we should approach it, which I needed because I didn't know anything about selling a house. I've never done it before. So, being busy and not ever having done this before, I felt like I needed a little bit of confidence with what was going to happen.

When I signed on with Marc, he said one thing that was really important. It was, “When you bring me on, you also bring on my team.” So, that made me feel like he wasn't just a one-man show just trying to do a million things all by himself to try to pull it all together. That, from what I also understood, is that with him being in the industry for so long, he probably was a well-oiled machine.
He had a plan, He laid it out very high level for me, but it just gave me some kind of confidence that at least he has some kind of plan here. The start has given me some ease and some confidence going in to. Now, listen. You know, obviously, there's still a lot of work that had to be done through those weeks, but there's a lot that happened that I did not expect. A lot happened that I did not expect, but I thankfully had Marc there to kind of help get through some of those parts that were a little bit of a question, Marc, for me, or I didn't know how they would go and whatnot. So, it was just good having him there, who’s gone through this before, establish the relationships, especially in this community, to kind of make this whole process come out with a result that we all wanted the most.
One thing I didn't know but learned, later on, is the relationships that he already has established, the team that he's already built, the infrastructure in place to manage just the physical and logistical parts of getting this place ready to show. Then also, having the relationships during the showing days, relationships with other brokers and people in the industry to have the conversations and to understand in those conversations who is serious and maybe who's not. Just trying to vet out which offers we might want to consider or might want to look at, or he gave us all of the offers to look at, but also, just allowed us the freedom to choose and vet potential buyers with the set of values that we wanted as well. That was the one thing that I really appreciated with Marc. It’s that during the whole process, he would always give his input, but always left it to us to ultimately decide. So, that gave us the confidence that we were working with somebody that knew a lot about what he was doing in the industry, but also like respected our preferences and our opinions about how we also thought it might work as well.
We want to honor this house and bless the people that bought this house by leaving this place and doing what we can to this place to bless the people that ultimately decided to buy it. I felt like this house was a blessing to our family. It really served us well, and so I wanted to leave that legacy, if you will, to the next buyers and not leave anything undone. So, going into the process with that attitude, I was really happy to have Marc as a partner in it, because him and his team went into it with that attitude as well. I was telling him earlier about just some of the work that we had done in here. People didn't come in here just to do some work and make some money and to maybe just do what they were asked to do. I felt like everybody from his team came in here with the same attitude, which is we need to do what we can to get this place, to look and show it the way that we want it to, or the best way we can, so that we can essentially honor this house and bless the people that had ultimately decided to buy it.
