Are you in sales?
Who do you know in the sales profession??Perhaps someone in Real Estate, Advertising, Equipment sales, Furniture, or even Automobile sales??What about a Business Owner, a Sales Manager? Are you a CEO or other C level executive???
Are you in sales???Would it surprise you to know that YES, you are!?
When you think about it, all of us are in the sales business.?
Just suppose your daughter comes in at 6 PM on a Friday evening, and says, " Mom, can I stay out later tonight?'?"My friend Tiffany is having a party and I'd really like to go?" "Please Mom?" Been there?
Aware or not, you just entered into a "sales" conversation.?As a matter of fact, every conversation is about a sale. In every conversation,?SOMEONE IS BEING SOLD!?So, recognize it for what it is.??
What about asking your boss for a raise?? Getting "buy in" from your leadership team or staff? Yes, there is another sales conversation.??
It's been said, ?"Nobody wants to be SOLD, but everyone wants to buy!"?It's really true.?The question is how?? And from whom?
Over the years, my sales experience with companies like IBM, Sony, RE/MAX, Hart, Schaffner and Marx, and in my own company, has allowed me to sell millions of dollars.?But, really, I've just served people by helping them solve a problem.?I just helped people to buy.?Wouldn't you like to know how?? It's that easy!
My friend Les Brown says it this way,
"Yes, there are natural born sales professionals.?Just like there are natural born heart surgeons."??

Being a sales professional isn't about "closing" a deal.?Earning commissions.?Or convincing people to buy something they really don't want or need.? Selling though is a skill!?And if a skill, it can be learned. And the very best sales people in any industry, the top ten percent, are all about sharpening their skills.
Here's what I know.?

One typical example is the failure rate in the?real estate?industry.
Nearly 77% fail, bail out, wash out, quit, before they reach their 1 year anniversary.?Why is that?? They fail to realize selling is a skill and they are not being taught nor are they learning the right skillset.? Actually most are not being taught at all.?Take note, if you think selling real estate is easy, like you see on HG TV,? guess again! ?
But, there is a lawful process that helps people to buy! And a key that will improve your sales 10 fold.
