Sell a Course to Exploit the Unemployed

Has anyone else noticed a strong uptick in the number of companies pitching courses to the unemployed?
I am seeing companies exploit the unemployed in the following areas and find their tactics vile and disgusting:
When you are unemployed, you really should focus on capital preservation. Embracing reality and not being too dreamy are also necessary. It’s a dog eat dog world out there and a lot of people suck. Hiring managers, recruiters, and even other jobseekers. It may take some time for you to come to the realization that your Linkedin network often will not help pay you forward and that you are on your own where time spent waiting is the only solution for many.
How do we bring back sanity and humanity to our interactions with each other? Does anyone care?
