Self Talk
Are you someone like me, who wants to change certain habits or acquire new skills to achieve good things in life?
We all know that changes are good for growth and success, then why we resist changes?
Why can't be able to stick up with new decisions or new year resolutions that we take to change ourselves? Why self management is so difficult?
Do you know that Self Management has clear definite sequence of steps? As most of us are not aware about those steps, so we end up losing sight to make ourselves disciplined enough to make those changes despite make the firm decisions.
Sequence of self Management is:
"Programming -> Belief -> Attitude -> Feelings -> Behavior(Actions)"
The most important step of this sequence is Programming.
We believe what we programmed to believe. Each time when we take a decision to make change ,we also form self doubt or disbelief in mind ("I am just incapable to do that", "I don't think i can" , "May be , let's try"). Our mind takes these thoughts as a negative programming which work against us to make the required change.
Until and unless we reprogrammed or reconditioned our mind (Changes at subconscious level) and prepared it for success , it will be difficult to make the changes.
We need to reprogrammed our mind using powerful Self Talk "the way we talk to ourselves" like ( "I am changing and becoming better" , "I set goals and i follow them" ,"I manage my time well" , "I have control on my habits").
These thoughts creates positive programming which sets up our belief , attitude , feelings and Actions.
