Descope changelog
To paraphrase a quote from Dory the forgetful fish: “Just keep shipping”. Here are some of the latest product updates from Descope:
?? Self-service widgets
With a few lines of code, you can embed customer-facing widgets in your app to empower your customer admins to manage roles, users, and access keys. Read more in our blog and docs.
?? A / B testing
Is magic link or social login the right auth method for your users? Should all auth methods be in one page or multiple pages? What’s the best visual hierarchy? With Descope A / B testing, you can now easily answer these questions by dropping in a traffic splitter step in your Descope user journey flows. Here’s a demo video.
?? Flows in technicolor
The Descope Flows UI is now even more resplendent than before! Apart from looking cool, the new color-coded steps improve readability of Flows and help you differentiate different flow steps at a glance.
Other updates
?? CI / CD management: We have made several updates to ensure Descope seamlessly fits into your software development lifecycle. You can now manage different Descope environments, use a command-line utility to perform actions on Descope environments, and use our CI / CD template with GitHub Actions and Workflows.
?? Voice OTP: You can now give your end users an option to receive OTP via SMS or receive a call and have the number read to them. This method improves accessibility and is useful for scenarios where your users prefer not to receive messages.

Secure user journeys
Cyberattacks take many forms, but the way attackers get in is almost always the same – by stealing credentials. Organizations must balance delivering frictionless user experiences with top-notch authentication security.
Enter Descope Flows. In this 30-minute webinar, we will:
??? Enhance user protection with breached credentials and malicious IP detection.
??? Reduce the likelihood of account takeover with adaptive MFA.
??? Adhere to proper session management practices.

Customer spotlight: Lema AI
If you’re a startup working with enterprise customers, trust is hard to gain and easy to lose. If an SSO or social login screen is the first thing they see from your brand, and that doesn’t work, you risk getting off on the wrong foot. The less time your developers spend worrying about auth, the more time they can spend working on the product your enterprise customers expect.?
Here’s what Tomer Roizman, Co-Founder and CTO of Lema AI , had to say:
“Just initially starting to work with Descope saved us three weeks of developer time. Now, if we talk with a company and they want to start evaluating our product, they already have a tenant running within 10 minutes and can start exploring the product. Descope helped turn our deployment time to zero when starting to work on new environments.”?
Events and meetups
?? RSA Happy Hour: Make your endless RSA evenings a little more chill. Join your security peers for food, drink, and fruitful conversations a 10-minute walk from Moscone. RSVP.
