Self-reliant Bharat

Today is the birthday of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.?

?

I wish him a very happy birthday and pray for his good health and peace. May the almighty give him the strength to complete the task, which he has undertaken in his mission to serve the society.

?

Today, most of the politicians and people are celebrating this day uniquely and diversely, in the form of Seva Divas, Seva Saptah, Seva Pandhravada or Seva Maas.?

?

On this occasion, Hon’ble Prime Minister will initiate three very important initiatives viz., Vishwakarma Yojana, Ayushmann Bhav and Yashobhumi. These initiatives will be landmarks in the history of our nation.?

?

During his tenure, many such long lasting initiatives, beneficial to the nation, have been launched. Since 2014, a series of such initiatives, which are taking Bharat to Vikasit Bharat, have been initiated, all with purpose of Bharat emerging as a Vikasit Bharat … A Vishvaguru Bharat.

?

Assessing the past 9 years, we have seen landmark development in every aspect of the nation, ranging from social status and impact, defence, foreign / external affairs relations, agriculture, industry, infrastructure & energy to climate, education, healthcare, technology, finance and economy …so on and so forth. In fact, list can be very long. While working on these areas, he has always been mindful of 140 crores Aam Janata…women welfare, youth development, the Garib Kisan, artisans, defence personnel - every citizen of the nation. I personally feel that such ideation, translated into action and implementation, has made Modi ji a VikasPurush.

Apart from these initiatives, there are many other factors that have put the nation on a fast track w.r.t. development alias Vikas.

Penning down some of these, from my own comprehension:

a. Economy - Bharatiya economy has become fifth largest economy in the world and is on its way to becoming the third largest economy of the world. This has made significant impact on the external world and everyone (including the developed economies) have started taking Bharat as a very serious player. Key metrics, like import-export, foreign reserves, currencies, trade, technology transformation, policies etc. are showing impressive upward trends and world is taking cognizance of the same. Bharat is now enjoying the global centre stage and everything is evolving around it.

b. Technology - Bharat has become a superpower w.r.t. technology. Technological development and advancement have taken us to the higher echelons. UPI implementation, the number of successful Unicorns, space technology and Chandrayaan and Aditya launch, fintech, insuretech, edutech, agritech, meditech etc., has made us a truly admirable nation - a nation that many now want to follow and emulate.

c. Infrastructure - Rapid strides have been taken in infrastructure, thereby increasing the confidence of citizens and the global community towards Bharat.

d. Trade and commerce - Bharat was always a great market for world, but in recent time Bharat has become an exceptionally super market for the world from every aspects. New initiatives like various foreign policies, ease of doing business, trade bi-lateral agreements between various countries, have made Bharat a very attractive destination from all the perspectives. It has developed huge confidence globally towards Bharat.

e. Research & Development - Scientific R & D has been given significant thrust. The budget provisions and spends in this area have been the highest ever. This has provided the right fillip to scientific development and enablement.

f. Agriculture - Use of chemical-free fertilizers has improved quality of agricultural produce and exports have seen positive impact. Farmers now have financing available at very economical rates and higher subsidies. A happy farmer epitomizes a happy nation.?

g. Education - Knowledge has become a focus area for our education systems. The knowledge economy now flourishes more than before. The Educational ecosystem has evolved tremendously with the right approach towards knowledge.??Educational institutions of great repute have been developed, which has resulted in outage and stoppage of the brain drain.

Above given are some of the outcomes. Let’s step back to see what has made achievements of these outcomes? Some of my thoughts:?

1. World has become more confident about Bharat

2. Students have become more confident about education system and infrastructure created

3. Farmers have become more confident about reforms which are underway

4. Scientists have become more confident about the full-fledged support provided

5. Defence personnel have become more confident about the freedom given

6. Industrial houses and MSME units have become more confident about the various subsidies and assistance provided

7. Senior citizen and retirees have become more confident about the various benefits and schemes launched

8. Medical fraternity has become more confident about the support provided

9. Women have become more confident about the equal opportunities provided

10. Youth have become more confident about the opportunities provided

11. Sports people have become more confident about the systems and infrastructure created

I feel every aspect of life - social as well as personal - have gained a huge confidence in the system. Today each one feels a part of nation-building exercise and hence contributes to the fullest in an honest manner and joins hands with our Leader in this exercise. Everyone is thrilled to be a part of this transformational journey. Today the concept of a corruption-less, highly productive, qualitative, educated and cultured, progressive society is becoming a reality. It has brought sea changes like oneness in every citizen, "nation first" attitude and a spirit of giving back to the society.

During the pandemic, the World has acknowledged Bharat's response to the situation and taking a lead in providing a solution for the global good.

?

The G20 presidency is another feather in our cap and further accentuates Bharat's leadership in the??well being of the humanity and world peace.

?

Both the above developments have paved the way for Bharat to become a world leader.

All the credit has to accrue to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and his able, strong, time-relevant leadership. He has made Bharat self-reliant. Atmanirbhar.

With his outstanding communication outreach programs - most significantly platforms like "Mann ki Baat" - he has empowered each one of our fellow countrymen and made us a part of the growth journey of the nation.

He has ensured that everyone feels a part of his parivar and consequently, also an implementer of the vision and mission he carries for the nation…to make Bharat a Vikasit Bharat … a Vishvaguru.
