Get a Better Job
Not getting interviews?? Look at your resume.
Writing an effective resume takes a good amount of time and effort.
Three principles are important to remember when writing résumés, cover letters, or applications. Make them attractive, applicable, and you will want to include accomplishments.
1.? Attractive materials are a reflection on you, and the quality of work you will provide. Make it easy to read and to locate key information & you’ll stand out in the stack.
2. Applicable skills and experiences that are relevant to the position. Omit anything that isn’t transferable.
3.? Accomplishments tell a story and help a potential employer envision your value.
This combination can result in more invitations to interview. It’s like magic!

THE BEST WAY TO GET OUT OF DEBT … DON'T BORROW
Popular messages in our culture push us to consume products we can't afford. Don't drink the kool-aid. Awareness plays a large role in your financial success.
Take two minutes to consider financial decisions you have made that went poorly. What were the consequences? How long did you feel the effects? How did it affect you, your marriage or family, and your ability to serve others? 1
Now think about how debt impacts these same things. Debt is a tool businesses regularly use to increase income & profits. If borrowing will not get you financially ahead, then it is not a financially sound risk. Will you be able to repay the debt if you lose your job, or if an emergency expense comes up?
Few things are worth getting into debt for, such as housing, transportation to work, and education that helps you get better employment.? Even though these may warrant some risk, consider ways you can reduce or never get into debt, such as saving up front, sharing the cost with family, shortening the length of the loan, and shopping for competitive interest rates.

Emotional Resilience
Social Support. As we develop caring relationships with others, our physical, emotional, and spiritual health is strengthened. Our family and friends love us and can provide the support, encouragement, and honest feedback we need to successfully cope with life’s challenges.
When building relationships, we must take the initiative to reach out to others and be tolerant of differences. We can build relationships through small and simple means. Taking time to create quality relationships matters more than the quantity. We will find that we get more joy in life as we develop close relationships with a few people we trust rather than having many superficial relationships. There’s nothing wrong with having a lot of friends, but we should not assume having more friends equals happiness. 2
“Life is not a solo act. It’s a huge collaboration, and we all need to assemble around us the people who care about us and support us in times of strife.” – Tim Gunn
Become genuinely interested in other people. Smile. Remember people’s names. Be a good listener. Genuinely care. Try sincerely to make others feel important. Be sensitive to the needs of others, serve them, give your time, share your skills.
Think about someone with whom you can build a stronger relationship. What will you do?
