Self-Reliance is KEY to Changing Your Economic Trajectory

If we have learned anything this past year then we’ve learned that, nothing is certain.

This pandemic has undoubtedly hurt many people whether they are now facing financial hardship, health problems, lack of social contact, or economic instability, just to name a few.

Indeed one of the biggest challenges this past year has been financial hardship. Some people losing hours at work or, even worse, their jobs. Small businesses are losing their client base and having to close their doors.

However, things are beginning to look better. With hopeful hearts, we as humans try to remain optimistic in our day-to-day activities, doing what is necessary to not only survive but thrive!

Moreover, if you have been financially susceptible to this economic downturn, then perhaps making a step towards self-reliance might also help give you a step up right now or even prepare you for uncertainty in the future.

Becoming self-reliant has never been so important to survival in uncertain times, and here are some things we can do to help ourselves, friends, family, and our neighbors achieve self-reliance:

1.    Purchase everyday products from small businesses

2.    Consider products from friends with an in-home business

3.    Refer your friends to small in-home businesses

4.    Become an affiliate of one or multiple in-home opportunities

Indeed any of these recommendations could change your or someone else's financial circumstances during these difficult times and into the future. But remember: "Life has no remote... You have to get up and change it yourself."

So, in closing, I would urge you to take a look at products you use and think about whether you can purchase the same or comparable product from a friend, family member, or neighbor with a small or in-home business.

P.S. I'd be happy to refer you to products I purchase from in-home or small businesses, and together we could change the course and circumstance of those hardest hit by this pandemic.
