Self Pitty...
Rev. Daniel Bramlett
Minister at Total Spiritual Development Addiction Counselor
Today's message is a very important reminder to me...words and promises made by my Father God that I myself have ignored in my time of tribulation. As a true believer, I lost myself in self-pity and doubt. I come to you each day hoping to touch just one life and change it for the better...when it's me that I need to change..
I lost myself at one point in time...But now I know who I am and I refuse to lose myself again...Now I'm looking to a better future...I've learned to Forgive the past and turn hate to love, change poison to medicine, and replace doubts with dreams...I'm moving on...Know that in order to open our eyes to the possibilities of today and tomorrow, we have to close our eyes on yesterday...The best thing about the future is that it only comes one day at a time...Fall in love again with what you have...Forget about what you've lost...Don't hope for what you can't have and look forward to whatever is coming to you...Remember that what has happened is not nearly as important as what can happen...Always take time to enjoy the moment, and look to the possibilities of our future...We are our own worst enemies...I believe that our worst enemy is our own thoughts and lack of true faith in believing God's promise. We deny ourselves life and an after life of absolute happiness. We doubt, fear, continue to believe that we can make it through anything on our own; without the help of anyone or God. We appear to be on the path of self-destruction through our addictions, wrongdoings, and lack of true faith...I mean to remind us all that God has a plan for your life. The Enemy has a plan for your life. Be ready for both. Just be wise enough to know which one to battle and which one to embrace...it really doesn't make much sense to know which is which...We know when we do or choose wrong, yet we continue...why? Our God created us not for his amusement but to glorify him in all we do. God has promised us all a life of true happiness if only we have and keep the true faith. We need to never let our enemy steal our peace...We are meant for so much more. It is our free will that hampers and causes us to stumble along our paths. We need to change the way we think and begin to let our thoughts of true faith guide us...Know that with faith anything is possible and "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20. We need to remember that God so loved us that he gave his only son so that we may have everlasting life John 3:16. It is our gift of free will that can help or kill us eternally...Know that to truly reach our goals we must go through tribulations. It is now that we must believe that when the enemy tells us that we can't, won't, or aren't strong enough because that will guarantee that we can, will, and am strong enough to reach our ultimate goals. One part of trusting God is knowing that if something is meant to be you will not have to sin to make it happen. So be patient. God's plans are better than ours...Trust in the Lord with all your heart, follow your heart, & God will make sure we keep going towards the great plans he has in store for our lives. There are times in all of our lives that we feel down and alone. I just want to remind you that we are never truly ever alone because...even if we feel like we're alone and we feel like no one cares, truth is, if we take the time to open our eyes, we'll see that we were never alone.Never forget that God only gives you what he knows you can handle. There is no situation that you are experiencing alone. God walks beside you always...His promise to you...When you think you stand alone look beside you... I have never left you. God's promise of love and mercy shall reign with showers of comfort, guidance, peace, and harmony even in the middle of the storm. God will always carry us through every form of trouble that we face...Just when you think you can't go on, God is there and God's Word provides the grace and love you need to take on whatever life has to deal out. God's love has no limits, Remember when we do what we can, God will do what we can't. God pulls me through every day. Sometimes I may have more, sometimes I may have less, but he always makes sure I'm never left with nothing...Heavenly Father, I just ask that You wash over me and bring me that peace only You can. Walk with me, and give me the strength to just get through today. Lord, You have carried me through all my difficult times. I thank You for Your Goodness and Mercy for giving me so many Blessings in my life.Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.Psalm 50:15...Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Have FAITH and BELIEVE...GOD will show you what you need to see...Hebrews 11:1...Rev Daniel Bramlett
