Self-Love Tips for Sensitive People

I’m a Highly Sensitive Person (thank you, @Elaine Aron, pioneering HSP researcher for helping me figure that out!). A few years ago, I felt fussy all the time. We sensitive folks can be so hard to please! I wondered, “What the heck does it take for me to feel contented?”

Acceptance

A big piece of it was accepting and loving how sensitive I am, instead of resisting it and pushing past my limits. When I accepted that I’m physically built differently, I began to accept that I have different needs.

My next blog series is devoted to giving my kindred sensitives ideas for getting our complicated comfort needs met, so we can bring our profound insights and gifts to the world.

Each installment has 5 unique Octavia-style tips for each level of self-love: body, emotions, mind, and spirit. The last installment takes it all to the next level – the self-love of living from our Divine Awareness.
