??? Self Love - Take Yourself on a Retreat
A few weeks ago I went on a day-retreat with my girlfriend near the sea in West Clare.
We were guided on a meditation and visualisation by the facilitator, then we participated in a cacao ceremony, and finished out the day with an hour and a half of sauna and sea-dips.
It made me realise this: you don't need to take a week off to travel to a yoga retreat in Bali to feel refreshed and relaxed after a busy time in your life.
Any time you take just for yourself can be your own mini-retreat.
It could be a 45 minute yoga class or sound bath experience.
It could be an hour's sauna and swim at your local Leisure Centre.
For a special treat, you may enjoy a facial or a massage.
Or it could be a simple trip to the coast to walk the length of the beach, getting out in the fresh air and nature.
Nothing beats having something to look forward to, but it doesn't have to be anything big.
The small moments in your week, taking time to relax or go on a day trip, are often enough to help you feel refreshed, revitalised, and ready for the week ahead.
So take yourself on a mini-retreat this February and show yourself some love.
Kind regards,
Elan
