Self-Love in Action: This Valentine’s Week, Celebrate YOU

Valentine’s Week often comes wrapped in expectations—roses, chocolates, grand gestures. But let’s be honest… none of those things truly fill the deeper need for love and care.
This year, I want you to shift the focus inward. Because the most important relationship you’ll ever have isn’t with a partner, your kids, your boss, or your best friend.
It’s with YOU.
Are You Showing Yourself the Love You Deserve?
Be honest—how often do you give everything to everyone else and leave yourself with the scraps?
?? You wake up already exhausted, running on fumes.
?? You power through the day, putting your own needs last.
?? You hear all the “self-care” talk but secretly wonder… who has time for that?
I see you. And I need you to hear this:
Self-love is not a luxury. It’s a necessity.
And no, I’m not talking about bubble baths and candles (though, if that’s your thing, go for it). I’m talking about real self-care—the kind that strengthens your body, clears your mind, and gives you the energy to show up fully in your life.
Why Prioritizing Yourself is the Ultimate Act of Love
If putting yourself last actually worked, you wouldn’t feel this drained.
Let’s be real:
??If ignoring your health gave you more energy, you’d feel amazing right now.
??If waiting for “the perfect time” was a good plan, you’d already feel your best.
??If self-care was selfish, why does neglecting yourself leave you feeling so empty?
The truth? You can’t keep running on empty and expect to thrive.
Your health is the foundation for everything. And when you take care of YOU, something incredible happens:
?? You wake up feeling energized instead of sluggish.
??You feel strong instead of constantly drained.
??You stop waiting for confidence and start building it.
This is what happens when you decide to love yourself enough to make YOU a priority.
Small Acts of Self-Love That Change Everything
Self-love doesn’t have to mean a complete life overhaul. It’s the little things you do every day that send a message to yourself: I am worth it.
?? Fuel Your Body With Love – Nourish yourself with foods that give you energy, not leave you feeling sluggish and guilty.
?? Move With Joy – Walk, stretch, lift weights, do yoga—whatever makes you feel strong. Movement is an act of self-respect.
?? Set Boundaries – Say no to things that drain you, so you can say yes to the things that matter.
?? Speak to Yourself With Kindness – Would you criticize a friend like you talk to yourself? If not, it’s time to change the conversation.
?? Give Yourself Permission to Take Up Space – You don’t need to earn self-care. You don’t need to deserve rest. You already do.

Personal Note From Mary Louise:
I've been there... Trying to do all the things for everyone and feeling exhausted and spent at the end of the day because I was too busy taking care of everyone else.
I remember catching my reflection in the mirror and seeing muscle tone continuing to deplete and knowing I wasn't doing anything to combat it. I was able to figure out a way for myself to integrate all health aspects of nutrition, fitness and mindset which ignited my passion to help others.
Through my coaching I enjoy helping others gain momentum and create transformation for themselves.
