Thought
Celebrating Janmashtami, i'm reminded of the admirable bond between Sudama and Lord Krishna.
Sudama was Krishna's childhood friend and schoolmate at the Gurukul where they studied together under the guidance of Guru Sandipan. Later Krishna became the King of Dwaraka and Sudama was a learned, devout devotee of Krishna, who chose a poor life to save Krishna from a curse. I had a curious thought about how a leader like Sudama would be perceived in our corporate world today.
Attire vs Competency, which takes higher preference? I believe it is important for leaders to be well presentable as they represent a brand.
Attire is one of the attributes of personal branding, which influences people knowingly or unknowingly. However, I have also experienced leaders who are immensely devoted to brands.
Loyalty vs Royalty, which is more valuable?
Is there place for both?
If you had to choose between Krishna and Sudama, which self-leadership style can you relate with?

BHAG
[bee-hag]
Big Hairy Audacious Goal. They are not everyday targets, but long-term moon-shot objectives to push oneself beyond imagination.
The term was introduced in the book Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies by Jim Collins and Jerry Porras, published in 1994. Collins and Porras commonly abbreviate it as BHAG, pronounced "bee hag."
