SELF-KNOWLEDGE - THE KEY TO SALES 2020(?)



We are Not in trouble....


In fact, you could say we are all enjoying being "un-glued" from the TV and now we seem to be using our highly advanced technology system to cut through the commercial and political agenda of mass media- that many could say has dumbed down our culture.


Now is the time to sharpen our one on one skills! Don't rely on passive tools. Rely on what you have inside you to affect change. Many of the sales practices and training out there not only dumb down sales people but encourage the dumbing down of consumers who do not always get a straight story when they want to buy a house or a car or some cosmetics. There is such a prevalent effort at manipulating people, despite their realization that they are being used, that many consumers have given up- and accept the half-truths. An example of which; real estate, despite the virus -- people still need to moving. They need to keep a roof over their head and the transition and transaction does not stop for them. Another example: unfortunately a client of mine died and the family is social isolating in their Mom's home while getting it ready to sell.

People have a real need for us to be a voice of calm and reason and integrity.

White Hat Sales is all about waking up to the value of integrity and truth in commercial interactions- and to realize that if consumers, marketers and salespersons smart up, we will become stronger now than ever. 


And if the attitude of this level of integrity, coupled with self-knowledge but also about shrewdness about people and transactions- bleeds over into our global political landscape, we will soon be inching closer to fulfilling the goal of many on earth - liberty, integrity and prosperity. 


Yes, self-knowledge is the core of my business, my charity (National PTSD Service Service Association) and my writing. But as you contemplate that, I invite you to think about my White Hat Sales(?) slogan, “Maximizing Sales Through Self-Transformation.(?)” Or to make my point even clearer and applicable to every part of my Advanced Communication Insights -- look at its slogan: “Maximizing Profitability Through Integrity, Empathy and Science.(?)”

I think slogans are an important part of branding. They can be, if you like, mini-mission statements that the public sometimes actually “gets.” Our slogans do not evade the idea that prosperity is a good thing and maximizing sales is very important to survival of individuals and companies.

Working remotely is EASY if you take account of our valuable opportunity to individually help each other today. And everyday. From this day forward.....
