Self-Insight: Aligning Experience with the Right Opportunities
After 26+ years of leading IT service delivery, customer success, digital transformation, and business strategy, I recently took a step back to reassess where my experience brings the most value in today’s evolving professional skillsets and competancies in technology and management.
Through this exercise, I realized how crucial it is for experienced professionals to align their career trajectory with roles that truly match their expertise and leadership strengths.
For me, this means focusing on executive and leadership positions in: IT Operations & Service Delivery – Driving operational excellence, ITSM, and SLA management. Customer Success & Digital Transformation – Enhancing client experience and optimizing IT solutions. Business Development & Strategy – Scaling businesses, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
This self-evaluation not only reaffirmed my core strengths but also helped me define target roles especially in the Middle East that truly leverage my expertise—ranging from COO, CIO, and Head of IT Operations to Director of Customer Success & IT Consulting.

Taking time to reflect on our career journey, strengths, and industry demands can help us: ??
