Self-Hypnosis for Success

Last year, when I started the "Southern Institute of Education & Management" (SIEM), within the first 2 months, we had to close our doors due to COVID-19. After a substantial investment of money, time, and effort, the last thing I wanted to hear was someone asking me to stop my business. At this time, I already had quit my previous job to kick-start our own organization with hopes of becoming a leader in the industry.
This was a difficult time. We transformed every aspect of our organization. However, due to the recurrent surge of COVID cases, the cash flow of the business suffered a lot. More than any of these problems, the situation really tested our ability to tolerate pain. We were worried about staff salaries, utility bills, student recruitment processes, and organizational expansion. We had many hurdles. Our programs were focused on the rural youth. Thus, virtual education sometimes is not a possibility since certain areas have no 3G.
Notwithstanding all of this, the psychologist in me started to silently think. The more I started to think of alternatives, the more critical I got. That was not helping me in any way. In some sense, it made me scared. So, I wanted a different method to help me succeed and that was self-hypnosis. A miracle of a procedure, and works like a charm.
Let me tell you what I did, maybe this will help you as well.
- First, I envisioned my ideal self. What I want to do, and how I want to my business operations. I developed a 5-year plan and visualized mentally how I would live my life regardless of the situation of the country.
- I listed all the barriers to my success, and I imagined how much weight I have been carrying around and how that gets me to feel sad and doubt my skills.
- I then converted each of my barriers into short-term achievable goals. I then developed a set of positive affirmations to help me eliminate negative thinking associated with prior mentioned barriers.
- Then, I made an audio track for myself and every day got myself to a state of focused relaxation and kept on listening to affirmations.
Under a focused state of relaxation, we can reprogram our brains by making our conscious mind dormant and our subconscious mind open for suggestions. The suggestions are our own affirmations. This removes any existing anxiety away from your mind and programs you to confront everyday work with confidence. This is a very safe technique and the results usually are pretty quick.
- My sleep improved.
- I became happier and felt less worried.
- I felt relaxed, learned to control my breathing, and improve my focus and concentration.
- I started to slowly reach my ideal self by listening to my very own track.
This particular track uses principles of self-hypnosis, which is an effective technique to reprogram our brains. Despite all the problems and chaos in the country, I still was able to increase my staff, recruit 100+ students, expand our operations, and strengthen the cash flow. All of this was possible as I believed in myself and had no reason to doubt my capabilities. This is an essential lesson for any entrepreneur. When I believe in myself, the staff automatically follows my lead. Self-hypnosis truly can change the way you feel about yourself. It empowers you.
