Self-Healing Societies

Self-Healing Societies

Resolving today’s ‘wicked’ environmental and social challenges is being held back because the solutions needed are too complex and too costly.

How can society self-heal in response to such major challenges as climate change, waste and crime when our traditional methods of designing, procuring and operating solutions are not delivering?

At PyTerra, we want to enable self-healing communities. We are developing a collaboration platform which makes every organisation a social entrepreneur, creating commercial opportunities for each to provide part of the solution. In this new world, the inputs from multiple actors across the public, private and civic sectors are aggregated and optimised in order to produce effective solutions at scale. Previously unrelated service inputs can suddenly find that they have significantly more impact by collaborating and operating as part of a market network. Digital technologies are used to develop these networks, which are then given access to issue-focused markets in which transactions take place between buyers, sellers, investors and funders. Asynchronous inputs for integrated impacts.

We want to shake up the way society resolves its most challenging issues. Instead of relying on the State for the answers, we want to empower communities to transform their capacity and capabilities to survive and thrive.

PyTerra is now open for seed stage investment. Please contact PyTerra CEO, David Arscott, via LinkedIn for an investment pack.
