The Art of Loving Yourself
Have you ever been in a situation in which your self-esteem was somewhat shaky & your confidence went down? Self-esteem is the way you view yourself and is important factor in your success. Some will argue more than education and intelligence. Self-esteem is closely linked to positive attitude. When your self-esteem is in good shape your positive attitude will be boosted which will energize your self-esteem again and so on. One builds the other.
Low Self-esteem
Low self-esteem is a state of self-doubt and low confidence in yourself and your abilities and the way you think others are perceiving you. For example, if you can’t see yourself negotiating confidently with an important client or managing a good performing team; you will not be able to do it. If you can’t see yourself moving forward in your career; many obstacles will stand in your way.
Images of Yourself
If you hold an image for yourself as a failure, you’ll fail despite your best intentions to succeed. On the contrary if you see a success image of yourself, in the end you’ll succeed despite the barriers and difficulties along the way.

Grooming a Strong Self-esteem
There are 6 building blocks for healthy, powerful and long-lasting self-esteem. Four blocks you build by yourself and the other two will require the support of others.

5. Listen to praise
6. Grow positive connections
It is clear that steps 5 & 6 need good others around you.
