·       Self -control starts with the mouth

·       Eating and talking are the functions of the mouth.Watching or being fully aware of the consequences of both these functions is crucial. If you can control it from the beginning, it will save you a lot of work and struggle later on, to manage, fix, or redo.

·       If you can have moderate use for both functions (speaking and eating,) you have already accomplished much without even knowing.

·       Yes controlling your eating; if you cannot control your eating habits (desires), it is going to be very hard for you to control yourself with anything else or control anything at all. You will be controlled by your desires or others in general.

·        One of the reasons of the demand to fast in all religions and spiritual practices, whether you are practicing or doing, whether it is mandatory, or an option, is fasting. Because it is the first step to go for self-control.

·       The creator guided us to the beginning of the path, then it is up to the individual to decide how far he can go or accomplish with his effort. Controlling your eating habits will keep you healthy and in good shape all the time.

     You do not need to go through diets every now and then, you can still eat all you want, but moderately because you are in control of the quantity you are eating, the frequency you eat, and the quality you are putting inside your body. The quality of food will make you pick the good ones for better health, which you deserve all the time throughout the years.·

       Another good side effect of fasting, or controlling your mouth, is controlling your anger, which is a very important factor of self-control. To be a successful person in any field, you have to master anger control.

·        “Never respond to an angry person with a fiery comeback, even if he deserves it… do not allow his anger to become your anger.” As Bohdi Sanders said.

·        If you start viewing and practicing, fasting with the new meaning as it is the tool that will lead you to be in control, to adjust, to choose not to do, to pick, and so on.Then you can say for sure I am in control; I am on charge of my life, my decisions, my actions, and my behaviors. The way to do it is to:

-        Watch what you are saying, how you are saying it?

-        You need to minimize your anger level and frequency.

-        Ask yourself always is it worth getting angry?

-        Why I am getting annoyed or angry?

-        The most important question would be how to solve this problem or this situation.

-        If you do not act on your temperament, you will end up taking wrong decisions in business and in life generally. You cannot think right or judge fairly. You cannot even have a normal quiet conversation with another party. If you are known as a person with a temper, people will try to avoid dealing with you as much as they can in order to avoid facing your anger.

-        You will end up losing money and opportunities in general.Wise people think before they talk and consider the consequences before speaking, therefore, they always win.  Foolish people; have less control on their anger or behavior in general, therefore, they always lose.

You are the only one who has the power to control yourself; otherwise, someone else will take over and control you because this leash has to be held by someone, it cannot be lose like this.So either you take charge and act for yourself, by yourself, or alternatively, someone else will take charge and start telling you what to do, what to say, and how to act. Someone will start abusing and controlling you.

Someone else will be in charge of you.

 You are the one, who is giving others the right to control you by not taking this responsibility, and not standing up for yourself or held being accountable for your behaviors.Then you complain about being controlled or abused, forgetting that you are the one who started it by choosing to stay still behind and not doing anything positive towards your life.Think about these words in general, see how far it applies in your own life personally, socially, family, and in the work field.

Start taking steps towards fixing it. Know how and where to start, without damaging whatever is already existing or what you have. You need to maintain what is existing and build on it by adding the right solutions to your problems.The more you take control of your desires and habits in general, the more you will accomplish in your life. It is an attitude after all.

Just decide and goooooo.
