Self-Coaching for Your Business Coach

As we strive to lead our businesses, a community effort, our family...we are taught to first lead ourselves well. Absolutely right. But, what we're not often taught is how to coach ourselves. I'm amazed at what people teach themselves how to do over weeks, months, seasons, and years.
But, let's be honest here. We're typically not the greatest self-coaches. I'm not. I hire coaches. I've hired many of them for businesses and for when I got a new job or promotion. I get it that it's not the norm. Owning a business isn't the norm either.
When I was asked by Authority Magazine to write about how to be a successful business coach, I really wrote about what my coaches taught me about being a successful leader of people. I'm a work in progress, just like my coaching clients are. Again, I have hired coaches for myself. Self-coaching only takes you so far.
Enjoy what you can from the article below and this 2x/week newsletter. I get it if a newsletter or two is not for you. Either way, book a time on my calendar to talk through your struggles as a family business owner or established founder.
