How do we become more self-aware and avoid being easily misunderstood in communications with our staff, co-workers, or family members? Ask questions to learn how our behavior is being seen by others. For example, how am I doing as a husband, co-worker, friend, etc.?
Becoming emotionally aware and learning how to manage that awareness are two steps toward emotional independence and freedom. This is done through self-regulation.?
Self-awareness and self-regulation are core skills of effective leaders.
Awareness is the root of self-esteem.
