Selection of specifications

When selecting a plastic pallet, the specifications selected will vary according to the required items.(1) First consider the specific specifications of the goods and how they are placed on the plastic pallet.(2) Consider the situation of pallet loading tools (such as containers, trucks, etc.). For example: if it is a one-time use, it is necessary to give priority to the integration of the traditional container width of 2300mm. For the pallet of 1100×1100mm, it can be placed in 2 rows, and forks on both sides or four sides can be used. For pallets of 1200×1100mm, If you want to use a combination of 1200mm long and 1000mm wide, you must choose the four-sided fork.(3) If it is used on a warehouse shelf, the width and depth of the shelf should be considered. Usually, two pallets are placed on each layer of the shelf, and a storage activity space of about 200mm is reserved. Given the large size in the depth direction, this will not produce harsh requirements for the carrying capacity of the plastic pallet, so as to save purchase costs.(4) The size of plastic pallets should also be considered for versatility. At present, the commonly used sizes in China are 1210 international standard type, 1208 European standard type and T11 Japanese standard type.

Choice of double-sided and single-sided:The choice of single-sided pallet or double-sided pallet should be determined according to the corresponding storage, loading and unloading and handling equipment and status (such as warehouse type, shelf type, stacking or placement status).The storage status of automatic warehouse, pallet racking, accumulation, and horizontal placement is used to decide whether to use single-sided or double-sided, according to what kind of loading and unloading equipment to use. For high-level racks with a small floor area, vertical conveyance is the main occasion, and mechanical forklift loading and unloading are the main ones. Both sides and single sides can be used.For occasions where the area is large and the transportation is mainly horizontal, if you use a manual pallet truck, use a single-sided pallet. If you use a mechanical forklift or an electric forklift, both single-sided and double-sided pallets are suitable. If a mechanical forklift is used for palletizing and stacking, the bottom of the pallet overlaps with the top of the lower cargo, and a double-sided pallet is better. If you use a manual hydraulic pallet to transport, it is suitable to use single-sided pallets, such as nine-foot, Sichuan, and Tian characters; if you use an electric forklift, both single-sided and double-sided pallets are suitable; if you use your own motorized pallets For truck transportation, a nine-legged single-sided pallet with no connecting strips at the bottom.If the load on the shelf reaches one ton and there is no plank or shelf in the middle of the shelf, a heavy-duty series pallet must be used.

Correct use of plastic pallets:In order to make the plastic pallet can be used safely for a long time, we hope to use the plastic pallet correctly according to the following requirements:1. Plastic products should avoid exposure to sunlight, so as not to cause plastic aging and shorten the service life.2. It is strictly forbidden to throw the goods into the plastic pallet from a height. Reasonably determine how the goods are stacked in the pallet. Place the goods evenly, do not stack them together, or stack them off-center. The pallet carrying heavy objects should be placed on a flat ground or surface.3. It is strictly forbidden to throw plastic pallets from high places to avoid breaking and cracking of the pallets due to violent impact.

4. When working with a forklift or manual hydraulic truck, the fork spurs should be as close as possible to the outside of the fork hole of the pallet. The fork spurs should all extend into the pallet, and the angle can be changed after the pallet is stably raised. The spurs should not hit the side of the pallet to avoid breaking or cracking the pallet.5. When the pallet is on the shelf, the shelf-type pallet must be used. The carrying capacity is determined by the shelf structure, and overloading is strictly prohibited.6. Plastic pallets with steel pipes should be used in a dry environment.

Load requirements of plastic pallets:Dynamic load refers to the maximum weight that can be lifted by a machine, electric forklift or manual hydraulic pallet truck at one time. General light series pallets can carry 0.5 tons, standard series pallets can carry 1 ton, and heavy-duty series pallets can carry 1.5-2 tons;Static load refers to the maximum weight that the bottom plastic pallet can carry in the stack. General light series pallets can carry 1 ton, standard series pallets can carry 4 tons, and heavy-duty series pallets can carry 6-8 tons;Shelf load refers to the maximum weight allowed when goods packed in plastic pallets are placed on the shelf. We must pay attention to the difference between dynamic load, static load and shelf load. The difference in load capacity is closely related to the shelf structure, ambient temperature and storage cycle. General standard series pallets have certain requirements for deflection. The national standard for deflection is 30mm, but this standard is obviously wider. We recommend using plastic pallets with a deflection not exceeding 20mm on the shelves. If it is an automatic stereo library, the requirements for deflection are more stringent.
