Make sure it works for you
Any software platform that you use in your business should at minimum leave you with the feeling that it's making things better for you, and not more frustrated. If it is, then you need to pause and remind yourself this is not the purpose of software.
Know what you are looking for
When choosing a new software, have a clear idea of what you want the software to do for you. As that can make a critical difference on what path you end up on. If you are not sure, then ask an expert before you start.
Consider your team
Team resistance to new software is normal. Many times for good reason, such as the interface being a complete mess. Knowing your team before and factoring that in to the software platform you choose will go a long way in smooth team adoption.
