Segment Lifting Frame Designed for Speed Relocation

In this project, Segment Lifting Frame (Segment Erector) were chosen by the Contractor with below reasons

1. Comparing to the renting of the high capacity mobile crane, choice were limited and logistically it is hard for contractor to control 
2. Cost of high capacity mobile crane rental are unpredictable due to the under supply condition with construction booming and high chances of work idling due to the uncertainty of work permit across the busy highway
3. Lifting Frame were considered as an asset and long term investment for subsequent packages
4. Costing workout shows that Segment Lifting Frame solution are cheaper
5. Segment Lifting Frame are designed to perform certain critical function such as delivery from opposite cantilever tips and erection in the other one whereas mobile crane were not able to perform these special function 

To justify the Segment Lifting Frame investment one of the condition was that the equipment must be able to be relocated in a very short duration with a small mobile crane.

The Segment Lifting Frame were design to be dismantled and relocated in just 2 parts. Each part were lighter than 30 metric ton. Each relocation only takes half day and the electrical wiring takes out another day.
