SEGA Genesis

The cost for the SEGA Genesis game console is eighty to one hundred eighty dollars off the internet. What was important with this game system is in the early to mid 1990's it competed with Nintendo's Super Nintendo game console. This game console had a half decent game library too, the classic Sonic the Hedgehog games obviously. Other titles such as Golden Axe,Alex Kidd and uncensored Mortal Kombat arcade ports. This game console also made their mascot Sonic Hedgehog an iconic character.

The issues with the SEGA Genesis is the cartridge format can be very fickle to get running especially if the cartridge have sitting around collecting dust. I not sure how costly it could be to buy and find game for the SEGA Genesis. Sadly the AtGames plug in play SEGA system is a cheaper option. This is me but the SEGA Genesis controller felt weird to use. The biggest issue is hooking up the system itself. The two options for this system are have a television that over thirty years old to have the right wire connections for the SEGA Genesis. Which most people do not have a thirty year older television just laying around. Or option two this is get an adapter piece that can run the SEGA Genesis on HDMI televisions. I am not sure if the game console is really worth getting due to the age of the console and games are. Plus probability the really good titles have been ported to newer systems too.
