Claytonia Scott, a dedicated participant in the SEF program, has made remarkable strides in her entrepreneurial journey. Based in Pimville, Claytonia recently relocated to the area to seize a job opportunity with HIVSA at their partner CBO, Crystal Fountain. During her time with HIVSA, she received comprehensive handcraft training, where she not only honed her skills but also learned how to monetize them. This training, coupled with the marketing knowledge she gained through the SEF program, has been instrumental in the growth of her small crocheting business.

The SEF program goes beyond just technical skills. The service providers who facilitated the training created a support group to provide continued mentorship and assistance to participants like Claytonia, many of whom are also starting businesses using these skills.
