When you have a “go-getter” personality, as most entrepreneurs and high achievers do, it can seem very frustrating when you are working diligently and not achieving the results you desire.
This will seem counter intuitive?and counter productive, yet it is powerful and empowering. This experience is a cue to STOP DOING.?
This seems counter-productive because the answer we typically go to is – do more. However, when doing more isn’t creating traction, it’s time to take a step back and look at the bigger picture because, very likely, you need to reset.?
When we are in “doing” mode, we usually have our heads down finishing task after task and checking boxes, without making sure all our actions are aligning with our vision.??
Your vision is paramount?
Your?vision is the director of your actions to help you live out your purpose, which is why it’s important to check in with it regularly, to stay on track and to make sure nothing has shifted or changed. Even little shifts either way can make a huge difference.
Ask yourself: Is my vision still relevant? What needs to shift to make the impact I desire?
After taking the time to access your vision, you might need to make a new strategy.
What new goals do you need to set? Do you need help reaching them??
Remember, when you have a big vision, you simply might not be able to do it alone. Tapping into the power of association and engaging others to assist you as you move forward, is paramount!
The next step is a huge one, and this is where people can get off track. You need to set your intention and then everything you do, needs to align with your intention, your vision and your goals.?
That really means looking into your identity and making adjustments to act like the person who has already achieved what you desire to achieve.?
You need to bring that future you into the now, so you can make wiser decisions.?
