Seeking Underwriter/Office Admin
Group ISO is currently seeking a new Underwriter/Office Admin as part of our team in Orange County, California. Our company is rated one of the top brands that cater to a wide variety of merchants and their credit card processing needs. Since 2001 Group ISO has partnered with our merchants to grow their businesses while we give them the tools and knowledge necessary to accept credit cards as a form of payment.
To qualify for this opportunity, we would like to see:
- 2-3 years of office experience: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Stellar customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn, adapt and take on multiple responsibilities
- Detail oriented, a commitment to personal high standards and the desire and ability to positively
- Goes above and beyond to achieve more than the status quo
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bonus if you possess these skills:
- 2-3 years' analytical experience preferred whether in credit card processing, banking, mortgage underwriting or credit risk.
By the time our training is complete, the new Underwriter/Office Admin will be responsible for:
- Compile, verify and confirm all information provided on merchant applications and supporting documents
- Efficiently process applications to ensure adequate verification, while maintaining quality
- Ability to make sound judgment and decisions to either approve, pend, and / or decline merchants based on financial, compliance, and / or fraud risks
- Ensure the compliance checks meet the federal regulations, card brands, banks, and processor requirements
